An alumnus of two of India’s most prestigious institutions—IIT Delhi and IIM Ahmedabad—Arun began his career at Asian Paints, where he was part of a pioneering team that re-engineered core IT systems, laying the foundation for his journey in technology leadership.

With more than 40 years of experience in the IT industry, Arun has been a visionary leader in developing innovative software solutions. In 1989, he joined hands with three entrepreneurs to cofound Nucleus Software Workshop Pvt. Ltd., marking the beginning of a long and successful journey in banking software solutions. His passion for creating impactful technology solutions later took him to Chennai, where he played a pivotal role in setting up a software firm catering to Citibank’s IT requirements. In 1994, Arun returned to Mumbai and founded Nucleus Software Offshore Ltd., which has since evolved into NUCSOFT Ltd. — a trusted name in delivering robust, scalable, and future-ready IT solutions.

With a career spanning over four decades, Arun has built deep domain expertise in complex banking applications and enterprise-grade software development. Under his leadership, NUCSOFT has evolved into a reliable technology partner for global financial institutions, known for its agility, integrity, and innovation. Arun's strength lies in building strong, empowered teams. His warmth, empathy, and people-first approach have fostered a culture of stability, growth, and long-term commitment within NUCSOFT.
